Our Story

From a 12-year career in LED programming, to teaching the next generation

Koshi Academy was born from a simple observation: thousands of young technicians across India were being hired for LED installations without any formal training. They were learning in the field — slowly, expensively, and often with equipment damage along the way.

Founder Ravi Gupta had spent over a decade programming massive pixel LED walls for weddings, concerts, political rallies and retail video walls. He knew the exact workflow that separated amateur installations from professional ones. In 2019, he decided to teach it.

Today, Koshi Academy serves 2,500+ students across India, UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and 9 other countries — all learning the same industry-standard workflows used in Bollywood productions and Fortune 500 retail activations.

2019 · The spark

A YouTube tutorial that went viral

Ravi uploaded a 20-minute MADRIX tutorial that crossed 100k views in weeks. The flood of questions in the comments made it clear: there was no proper training resource in Hindi for this industry.

2020 · First course

MADRIX Basic — 180 students in month one

Koshi Academy launched its first paid course during the pandemic. Students across India tuned in nightly. 180 enrollments in the first month validated the demand.

2022 · Hardware kits

We started shipping real pixel LED kits

Our Pro-tier enrollments now ship with a 100-pixel kit, DMX adapter and software license — because you can't learn programming without touching the hardware.

2024 · 2,500+ alumni

Alumni working across 14 countries
